POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated Piping Designer with at least 5 years of piping design experience within the shipbuilding industry. The candidate will develop detailed piping drawings based on applicable specifications and work order instructions. REQUIREMENTS Minimum of 5 years of piping design experience within the shipbuilding industry Proficiency in using AutoCAD and 3D modeling software, such as Ship Constructor, Nupas, Cadmatic, Inventor, and CATIA SKILLS Strong understanding of piping design principles in the shipbuilding industry Ability to prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Material (BOM) Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications RESPONSIBILITIES Develop detailed piping drawings based on specifications and work order instructions Ensure design products and engineering deliverables conform to engineering design and customer specifications Prepare Bills of Material (BOM) Consult with vendors on project-related activities Coordinate design criteria with engineering, manufacturing, tooling, material, and planning groups, considering ease of manufacture, material availability, and contractual specifications WHY BOLLINGER?
