About Madrigal: Madrigal is a biopharmaceutical company pursuing novel therapeutics for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), also known as metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (MASH). Our first therapy, Rezdiffra (resmetirom), was granted accelerated approval by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for the treatment of adults with NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis (consistent with stages F2 to F3 fibrosis) and is being studied in a Phase 3 trial for the treatment of NASH with compensated cirrhosis.

Role Overview: The Director, HCP Marketing (Market Development), will be a key member on the US Marketing team focused on building and executing marketing efforts targeted at HCPs. This is an exciting and unique opportunity to help shape a nascent but dynamic NASH (nonalcoholic steatohepatitis) marketplace as we continue to launch Rezdiffra, the first and only FDA-approved treatment for NASH with moderate to advanced liver fibrosis. In partnership with the HCP Brand Lead and team, this individual will champion best-in-class HCP marketing efforts to fuel the US commercial launch and continued growth of Rezdiffra. Specifically, this individual will be responsible for workstreams focused on driving market demand including, but not limited to, (1) advanced practice providers (NPs/PAs), (2) patient identification & referral, (3) NASH/MASH disease education, and (4) other business critical marketing initiatives. This position is designed for a highly strategic marketing leader who will be required and empowered to help shape brand strategy, build effective tactical plans, create actionable project plans, manage budgets and timelines effectively, and deliver high-impact fit-for-purpose solutions that are supported by leadership and cross-functional partners.

Position Responsibilities: Develop, execute, and measure HCP marketing strategies and tactical mix aligned to brand strategy, positioning, targeting, and messaging to drive product adoption and utilization while meeting all FDA regulations and standards. Serve as the APP (NP/PA) marketing lead in partnership with other cross-functional partners to ensure appropriate education and support for this strategic customer segment. Lead the execution, measurement, and enhancement of the HCP disease education campaign efforts. Lead and execute other critical marketing efforts including (but not limited to) patient identification, guideline awareness, and referral initiatives; requires strong clinical acumen and ability to effectively collaborate and gain alignment with medical affairs functions. Effectively collaborate to ensure alignment and success with marketing members and cross-functional partners including PRC/MLR, market research, analytics, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, compliance, field, etc. Lead agency partners, manage budget, and evaluate tactical performance to ensure appropriate resource allocation and timely delivery within financial constraints. Support commercial field teams and other tactical workstreams as needed. This is not a comprehensive listing of job functions. Qualifications and Skills Required: Motivated and accountable self-starter with ability to work independently with minimal direction. Superb project management skills (prioritization, timelines, budget, etc.) with ability to balance several workstreams simultaneously. Attention to detail and ability to connect the dots while still seeing the big picture. Excellent communication and cross-functional partnering skills with ability to influence. Driven to exceed expectations with desire to develop and grow professionally. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced business environment and comfortable with ambiguity. Strong clinical acumen with ability to translate clinical data into compelling communications. Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics. Travel is required – up to 25% of the time (including weekends as needed). Hybrid working – required to be in office 3 days per week (Conshohocken, PA or Waltham, MA). Bachelor's Degree, MBA or Masters preferred. 10+ years of biopharmaceutical commercial experience (required); sales, marketing, strategy, etc. 5+ years of HCP marketing experience (required). Experience across several channels, stakeholders, disease states, and business models (required). At least 1 specialty launch in the past 5 years (required); subpart H experience is a plus. Experience in a smaller company (or team) environment is a plus.

Compensation: Base salary is determined by several factors that include, but are not limited to, a successful candidate's qualifications, skills, education, experience, business needs, and market demands. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits, which include flexible paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance.
