The UCAN MarComms FP&A team is seeking a Manager, FP&A – Series, Nonfiction, Live Marketing to support the scripted series, nonfiction, live marketing, live & ad events, and corporate events teams. The role will drive financial planning, deliver strategic insights, and partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to enable growth and operational excellence within the UCAN Marketing organization. The position is based in Los Angeles and reports to the leader of the UCAN MarComms FP&A team. Responsibilities
Lead annual budget planning for Scripted Series, Nonfiction, Live Marketing, Live & Ad Events, and Corporate Events Lead headcount and people cost planning and management, partnering closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, and stakeholders Assess marketing support needs for Live Content opportunities during early deal stages Develop and scale Live Marketing framework and ways of working with regional Marketing Finance & Strategy partners Oversee in‑year budget management, partnering with stakeholders to reflect latest business assumptions Manage preparation and submission of corporate forecast deliverables Create and deliver management‑level reporting on in‑year budget position Conduct financial scenario analyses to support informed decision‑making Facilitate retrospective investment reviews with stakeholders to inform future strategy Qualifications
Highly analytical, strategic, and a strong, effective communicator Sound understanding of core marketing principles and related accounting guidance (preferred) Display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior‑level executives; thrive in a fast‑paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics Motivated, disciplined, flexible, and able to work effectively autonomously within a flat organizational structure Prior experience and passion for the entertainment space and marketing (prioritized) Proven track record of delivering superior financial and strategic analysis with actionable recommendations that drive business results Requirements
8+ years of directly relevant FP&A experience, ideally including marketing finance Extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative financial analyses Experience supporting multiple VP‑level stakeholders Proficiency working with systems and automated reporting tools (e.g., Oracle, Anaplan, Workday financials, etc.). Financial systems implementation experience is a plus Superior proficiency with Excel and complex financial modeling Excellent verbal and written communication skills 4‑year degree in a relevant field with strong academic performance; MBA a plus Genuine passion and excitement for Netflix’s unique culture Compensation
Annual salary range $160,000 – $470,000. No bonuses. Salary and stock options are adjustable to create a balanced total compensation package. Benefits
