Content & Communications Specialist

The Content & Communications Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring clarity, consistency, and quality of internal communications. This position is responsible for proofreading, copyediting, and copywriting across various formats, while also serving as the primary content owner and administrator of the company intranet site.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary owner of the intranet site, ensuring content is current, relevant, and well‑organized.
Collaborate on content calendar, timelines, and analytics to improve usability and engagement.
Develop and distribute internal communications, including the Roadie Round‑Up, Support Center Text Club, and digital communication boards.
Review and edit internal communications, presentations, newsletters, and other documents for grammar, style, and accuracy.
Write original content for intranet, employee spotlights, and company updates.
Maintain documentation and best practices for content workflows.
Support the Internal Communications Manager with projects such as the Digital Alley Communication board program and internal social media posting.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or related field (comparable experience may be considered). 5+ years marketing/writing experience preferred. Experience managing digital content platforms (SharePoint, Confluence, or similar intranet tools) required. Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel; experience with Canva a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
