Schedule: Full time
Shift: Mon-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Flex time for business needs as needed.
Location: Location: Arapahoe, Adams, Denver, Douglas, Elbert and Jefferson Counties
The role you’ll contribute: The Hospice Specialist is responsible for marketing AdventHealth Hospice Care services, mission, vision to an assigned geographic area within the communities it serves and develop relationships with hospital, skilled nursing and assisted living staff members and local physicians with the potential of referring patients to AdventHealth Hospice Care to increase referrals and foster relationships in the community.
The value you’ll bring to the team: Referral Development: Cultivate connections with individuals and organizations that influence referrals to hospice care.
Other duties as assigned.
Consultative Sales: Develops a clear understanding of the referral source’s needs and provides tailored solutions, utilizing appropriate marketing collateral or educational materials.
Data Management: Accurately document daily sales calls, referral source contact information, territory updates, and communications in electronic database systems; submit required reports to management.
Budget- Submit expense reports timely and in accordance with company policies. Stay within allotted budget and work with manager if opportunities arise that require additional financial resources.
Educational Outreach: Coordinate and conduct educational events for referral sources in collaboration with the Education Department to promote hospice care and the organization’s mission.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed: Minimum qualifications: 2+ years Healthcare and/or hospice experience
Valid in state Driver’s License with current car insurance
Preferred qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing , healthcare, or related field
