We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Marketing Manager to lead and execute our field marketing strategies across the state. The ideal candidate will be responsible for spearheading all field marketing activities, from coordinating events and activations to managing relationships with retail partners within the state. This role involves a high degree of collaboration with retail marketing teams to drive sales, enhance brand visibility, and ensure brand consistency across all accounts. Leading the Field Marketing Team:
Providing leadership and scheduling direction to a team of state-level brand ambassadors and field marketing specialists, while actively collaborating across departments to ensure a cohesive approach to market strategies. Account Onboarding & Relationship Management:
Leading the onboarding of new retail accounts while building and nurturing relationships with store management, buyers, and budtenders to maintain account satisfaction and ongoing brand engagement. Budtender Training & Incentives:
Conducting regular budtender training sessions to equip retail staff with in-depth knowledge of Fernway products, promotions, and brand narrative. Support incentive programs to engage and motivate store teams in promoting and selling Fernway products. In-Store Execution & Compliance:
Ensuring 100% execution of in-store marketing strategies to maintain brand visibility across all accounts. Upholding compliance with local, state, and federal cannabis regulations in all in-store and event marketing activities. Supporting Sales Initiatives and Product Launches:
Collaborating closely with the sales team to achieve sales goals, managing the order and distribution of sales support materials, and communicating clearly on a daily basis. Organizing and Participating in Events:
Leading the charge in organizing trade shows, expos, and community events to enhance brand visibility and foster community engagement. Conducting Market Research and Analysis:
Expertly analyzing local and regional markets to understand customer demographics, competition, and trends. Identifying new market opportunities while navigating the cannabis industry's regulatory landscape. Overseeing Marketing Budgets:
Efficiently managing the marketing budget, ensuring resource allocation aligns with company objectives and marketing strategies. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Must reside in IL to be considered Must be 21+ and provide valid identification Must pass a background check in accordance with all applicable federal and state laws 4+ years of management experience, projects and people 4+ years of event planning, trade marketing, and branding experience Strong time-management skills and attention to detail Highly approachable & friendly personality Social media/content creation experience Reliable travel 50% of time to retail partners, events, and activations Ability to lift over 40 lbs Experience with CRM platforms, i.e Hubspot a plus Experience in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite a plus Experience the Fernway Advantage
