The Physician Liaison/Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining strong referral relationships, promoting the medical practice’s services, and enhancing the organization’s visibility through community outreach and marketing initiatives. This role combines relationship-building, strategic marketing, and creative content management to drive patient referrals and support overall practice growth. Responsibilities:
Referral Development & Physician Relations
Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, medical offices, and community partners to increase patient referrals. Conduct regular visits to referral sources to promote services, gather feedback, and strengthen connections. Identify new referral opportunities and develop strategies to expand market reach. Track and analyze referral trends and provide reports to management. Plan and execute marketing campaigns, community events, and outreach programs to increase brand awareness. Develop promotional materials and ensure consistent branding across all platforms. Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing efforts with practice goals. Represent the practice professionally at health fairs, community events, and networking functions. Social Media & Digital Marketing
Manage and maintain the practice’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.). Create engaging and compliant content using Canva and other design tools. Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and track performance metrics. Stay up to date on social media trends and make recommendations for content improvement. Travel & Territory Management
Travel locally or regionally to physician offices and community events as needed. Manage travel schedule efficiently to maximize outreach coverage. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in healthcare marketing, physician relations, or similar role. Proficiency with social media platforms and Canva (required). Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and travel as required. Strong organizational and time management skills. Relationship building and customer service Marketing strategy and campaign execution Social media management and content creation Public speaking and presentation skills Analytical and reporting skills Knowledge of healthcare industry and referral processes
