Job Summary The multimedia designer is a strong visual storyteller who creates compelling, innovative, and results‑oriented materials that support the university’s brand and strategic priorities. Working closely with the University Communications and Marketing team, this role enhances the Wright State brand through print, digital, web, signage, photography, and videography.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3‑5 years professional experience in creative/graphic design
Digital portfolio required (website or PDF under 10 MB)
Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, HTML, CSS, and content management systems
Creative thinker who develops innovative ideas and solutions to marketing communication challenges
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and internal stakeholders
Deadline oriented and able to manage multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications Higher education experience preferred.
Essential Functions and Percent of Time
Multimedia design (print, digital, graphics, web design, signage, video editing, etc.) – 75%
Collaborate with campus and Advancement partners to create compelling, innovative, and results‑oriented materials – 20%
Other duties as assigned – 5%
