STUDIO COLLECTIVE, an award-winning boutique design agency in the heart of Venice, CA, excels in crafting coveted hospitality destinations throughout the United States and around the globe. We are seeking a creative, passionate Mid-Level Interior Designer with the ability to wear several hats, work collaboratively with other designers and consultants, and most importantly, lead their own design projects with a sense of ownership, integrity and responsibility. Job Description

You will act as a project designer working under the Principal(s) and/or Senior Designer’s creative direction. Success in this role requires a minimum of 3-6 years hospitality-specific experience and Strong FF&E experience. Responsibilities

Co-management of project design team deliverables with project presentations (computer and hand rendered) under direction of senior designer Frequent communication with project team, clients, consultants, vendors and contractors Budget creation, ordering, expediting, and scheduling Sample procurement, purchase order issuance and tracking Creation of FF&E spec books Interior project drawing sets and sketches Construction administration during the build-out process Help create and track purchase orders as needed Attend project meetings and site visits Act as Studio’s liaison with vendors and contractors, including visits to project sites and vendor workrooms to check progress of fabrication and construction Coordinate and assist with on-site project installations Manage or liaison with other office personnel, including project design team members, runners and interns Requirements

3-6 years+ experience in interior design, primarily hospitality-focused Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or Architecture AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency Exceptional communication skills 3-D Sketch-Up / Rendering capabilities Spanish speaking / communicating a plus Benefits
