Job Title VP, Head of Marketing

Salary $190,000.00-$210,000.00

Job Description The VP, Head of Marketing is responsible for ensuring alignment of Marketing efforts with the priorities of the firm. Responsibilities include developing marketing strategy, coordinating affiliate marketing with American Beacon's Sales team, engaging with and responding to the needs of American Beacon's strategic partners, supporting firm and channel specific sales campaigns, oversight of Digital Marketing team, supporting Sales, Product Management, Asset Management, and other internal customers in the creation of new materials.

Key Responsibilities

Develops and executes firm-wide integrated marketing strategy to support growth in assets, advisor engagement, and brand visibility

Maintains and updates a marketing roadmap for ongoing enhancements to marketing efforts

Partners with distribution to align marketing goals with business priorities

Oversee marketing vendor relationships

Ensures efforts of Marketing department are aligned with the priorities of the firm and that sufficient resources are available

Oversees and coordinates marketing initiatives for focus products including product positioning, value-add campaigns, and sales enablement

Coordinates with Sales, Product Management and Asset Management to develop content strategy that spans thought leadership, video, social, and email campaigns targeting financial intermediaries

Oversees recurring production and distribution of marketing collateral. Leads digital marketing efforts including website management, marketing automation, CRM and data analytics

Builds and manages dashboards to measure campaign ROI, channel performance and sales activity metrics

Works closely with American Beacon's affiliates, subadvisors and strategic distribution partners to design, execute and measure targeted marketing campaigns

Works closely with Compliance team to ensure all information meets security and industry guidelines

Leads a team of marketers and external vendors/agencies, managing budgets and resource allocation

Consistently reads feedback and follows up with relevant mentoring, encouragement and accountability for individuals on team

Ensures reviews are completed on schedule and effectively communicates reviews, compensation and standing within the organization with each team member

Requirements

Prior experience in financial services required; prior experience in the asset management or wealth management industry and marketing to registered representatives in regional offices preferred

Excellent understanding of the investment business and the firm's products and services

Prior experience with channel and digital marketing

Interpersonal and team leadership skills with the ability to drive key decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Creativity and the ability to simplify complex investment ideas
