Job Description
This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing programs across the North America region, supporting the Regional Marketing Manager in delivering timely, relevant, and results-driven marketing and communications activities that align with business objectives and drive growth.
The position is open to candidates based in
Pasadena, TX
and the
Greater Houston, TX area .
Contribute to the development and execution of targeted, defined and measurable regional marketing plans across NAM
Assist in the planning and execution of approved regional tradeshows and other customer events ensuring alignment with Global Marketing
Take responsibility for driving global marketing efforts such as content, digital and lead process by maintaining strong collaboration with global counterpart and fostering regional alignment
Help drive the development and implementation of Channel Marketing initiatives, enabling agents and distributors to maximize market impact
Create regional content including customer testimonials and case studies that support the regional marketing plan
Ensure local compliance with brand guidelines; Train regions and sites to ensure appropriate brand deployment.
Provide market intelligence from the regional perspective, including analysis and Voice of Customer input
Participate in ad hoc requests for various initiatives, including new product launches, site openings and M&A etc.
Consolidate regional feedback, assess campaign performance and demand generation, and provide regional market insights back to Global Marketing
Collaborates with the Regional Marketing Manager NAM to customize, develop, and execute John Crane’s marketing strategy for the North America region. Operates as part of the global marketing team, with a direct reporting line to the Regional Marketing Manager NAM
Acts as a key point of contact for marketing-related inquiries from the NAM sales team, providing leadership across regional markets in areas such as demand generation, new product launches, and vertical marketing to support market share growth
Responsible to rollout of global marketing initiatives within the region, including content, digital, and lead process, through close coordination with global stakeholders
Coordinate and execute regional trade shows and events, partnering with cross-functional teams to manage planning, promotion, logistic, content development, and post-event lead process in alignment with global strategies
Support to drive Channel Marketing initiatives by equipping agents and distributors with localized tools, campaigns, and strategic support to enhance partner engagement and performance
Support global team with defined activities as required, including copy proofing, brand management, and exhibition stand artwork.
Engages cross-functionally with Marketing Communications, Product Marketing, Vertical Marketing, and Sales Enablement to ensure deployment of top-down initiatives and that regional needs are effectively communicated to global decision-makers
Examples of collaboration include: (a) Supporting the Global Marcomms team on communication plans, inbound/outbound tactics, and localized content for regional initiatives. (b) Partnering with Vertical Business Directors to identify portfolio gaps in regional markets. (c) Working with Marcomms and Product Marketing to develop white papers, case studies, and sales tools
Partners closely with regional Sales leadership to deliver market intelligence from the region back to Global Marketing
Oversees brand education and deployment in NAM, ensuring consistent and compliance with global brand guidelines.
Joins a team of experts focused on delivering value across operations, with opportunities for meaningful involvement and collaboration with global stakeholders.
Qualifications
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work cross-functionally in dynamic and flexible environment
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills with ability to plan over 3-year time span
Bachelor's degree ideally in business/marketing
Min 5 years’ Experience as a Marketing Generalist/Specialist
Demonstrated track record of executing marketing plans, preferably in an industrial B2B environment, and be comfortable interfacing with internal/external
Must have a high degree of written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English
Must have the ability to work cross-functionally in a dynamic and flexible environment.
Proficiency in CRM tools and lead management process is essential
