Summary : Assist the Marketing Manager with day‑to‑day marketing functions. Develop, coordinate, and implement all aspects of marketing activities, including promotions, advertising, special events, and public relations. Oversee data analysis, database analytics, graphic design, and social media efforts within the marketing plan.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement an effective sales plan to accomplish departmental goals and increase guest visits.
Oversee all phases of data analysis, including direct mail, database, and player reinvestment matrix.
Assist Graphic Design with assigned and ad hoc projects, internal and external communication, and vendor negotiations.
Coordinate property advertising with agencies to maintain consistency with marketing strategies and goals.
Assist Tour & Travel with group analysis, reporting, and regular meetings with the Marketing Director.
Develop and implement a group sales program targeting regional groups that have a propensity to game.
Prepare proformas and budget impact projections and evaluation reports for each package, group, or event.
Develop and maintain relationships with travel agents, hotels, retailers, and special interest groups; coordinate training sessions for tour & travel representatives.
Work closely with all Marketing and Casino employees at offsite functions; coordinate marketing‑sales activities across departments.
Meet regularly with Food & Beverage, Facilities, and other departments to ensure smooth operation and coordination of all marketing‑related events.
Develop or contribute to the development of marketing plans for player rewards and special events.
Produce collateral pieces in conjunction with internal or external advertising agencies to promote the property and its activities.
Create schedules and timelines for all departments to ensure timely delivery of direct mail and collateral.
Oversee data analysis and all direct mail.
Run reports based on information collected during special events, promotions, or detailed marketing analysis.
Facilitate the flow of information by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
Review and analyze activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department progress toward stated goals and objectives.
Qualifications Education : Associate’s college degree or in the process of obtaining one.
Experience : 3–5 years of marketing experience, preferably in casino marketing.
Special Qualifications : Data analysis and player data extractions; strong organizational and interpersonal skills; familiar with Player Technology systems, gaming concepts; certification and working experience with SQL.
Technical Skills : Knowledgeable with Google Analytics, online social platforms, and website metrics; proficiency with Microsoft products, Acrobat, Adobe tools (Illustrator, Bridge, Photoshop, Creative Cloud, and Viz Explorer).
Language Skills : Bilingual (English/Spanish) with ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents; write routine reports and correspondence.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Physical Demands : Regular requirement to talk or hear; stand, walk, sit, and use hands; occasional reach with hands and arms; occasional sit, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment : Moderate noise level; regular communication; frequent standing and moving.
