Design Consultant

for our Fort Myers showroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and creating visually stunning and functional interior design, developing a solid client base, and working with customers in our showrooms. The candidate should have a strong eye for detail, a firm understanding of design principles, color, and texture, and a professional sales background. Responsibilities include processing sales transactions, returns, special orders, and ensuring accurate documentation. The

Design Consultant

should be a team player, capable of providing direction and mentorship to design assistants, and interacting seamlessly with Management, Customer Service, and Office Support staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES Work one-on-one with customers visiting our retail showrooms. Prepare design presentations on a project basis using visual media such as fabric, finishes, photos, and floor plans, either in-house or digitally. Provide accurate measurements to the CAD team and assist with room planning using CAD or other software. Handle sales functions efficiently, including processing transactions and maintaining records. Establish and maintain good relationships with clients. Project a positive company image to the public. JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design preferred; 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent in high-end furniture sales. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Excellent communication and administrative skills. Experience with CAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record and reliable transportation for in-home appointments, with proof of insurance. Solid math skills. BENEFITS:
