We’re seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented person to take the lead on our Social Media & Graphic Design. This multifaceted role blends visual design with social media strategy and execution. You’ll oversee content creation, campaign planning, digital engagement, and brand storytelling—working closely with the Operations Manager and Events Coordinator to support dealership promotions, events, and overall brand presence.

This role demands strong project management, exceptional communication, creative problem-solving, and a passion for both design and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: Manage organic and paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and X (formerly Twitter) for the Black Hills Harley-Davidson group of stores. Own the social media voice and ensure brand consistency across all channels. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, reviews, and customer interactions in a timely, brand-appropriate manner. Maintain and update Facebook and website Events calendars; monitor activity on platforms like Google My Business, Yelp, and Bing Places. Track performance metrics, generate reports, and make data-informed content and engagement strategy adjustments. Stay on top of platform updates, algorithm changes, and emerging digital trends. Content Creation & Graphic Design: Design promotional graphics, email campaigns, event signage, and marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools. Ensure all visuals meet brand standards for color, typography, and style. Collaborate with the Ops and Events teams on campaigns, mood boards, renderings, and layouts. Photograph and film dealership events and daily activity for digital use. Digital Marketing & Online Presence: Maintain and update website content, events calendars, and dealership info across all 5 locations with internal and external team support. Create and send email blasts aligned with current events, promotions, and dealership initiatives. Monitor and maintain accuracy across Google, Yelp, Foursquare, Bing, and other digital listings. Coordinate with Sonic Corporate Marketing on paid digital promotions (Google Ads, etc.). Events & In-Person Support: Assist in planning, promoting, and executing dealership events, weekly promotions, and large-scale annual experiences like the Sturgis Rally. Monitor in-store signage and customer-facing visuals to ensure a premium brand experience. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, design, communications, or a related field preferred. 3–5 years of experience in social media marketing and/or graphic design (powersports, automotive, or retail industry a plus). Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma. Strong understanding of visual design, layout, typography, and branding. Experience managing business social media accounts and interpreting performance metrics. Familiarity with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana, or similar). Ability to work independently, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A creative mindset with a passion for visual storytelling and community engagement.
