The City of Crandall is operated as a council-manager form of city government. The city manager is the official appointed as the administrative manager of the city, by the City Council. The Communications & Marketing Coordinator works under the Human Resource Director to manage marketing programs and initiatives, monitor communication strategies, create educational video and graphic content, develop informational initiatives, and maintain the city website with current information. The Coordinator uses interpersonal, computer, communication, marketing, and personable skills to leverage marketing techniques, plan and organize city events and promotional material, and interact with citizens. Requirements
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Public Relations, Media Arts, Journalism, or related field. Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Suite. EXPERIENCE
Two years or more of professional related experience in the customer service field. CivicPlus or a similar web design platform preferred. Graphic design and content creation and management. Video production or management. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Hours may vary and will require occasional work on evenings and weekends. Attendance of all City of Crandall sponsored and partnered community events is required. Class C Texas Driver’s License. Use of own vehicle. Additional licenses and certifications may be required. Benefits Package
