As a supportive partner to the Senior Director, Marketing & Communications, the Communications Manager will work on both strategic and hands-on projects to promote our company internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have experience with writing, editing, basic email marketing and social media management; they should be able to plan and execute internal and external communications plans with precision. We're looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment and enjoys making the complex simple. Organization, flexibility, relationship building, and adaptability are key. As a manager in communications, the ideal candidate will serve as a brand ambassador, creating content that connects our audiences to our company and our values. They will have a genuine interest in learning more about our people, our company and our industry and share that information with key audiences. Key Job Responsibilities : Plan, manage, and execute strategic internal and external communications plans and campaigns. Write, edit, and distribute communications, including, but not limited to, newsletter content, website content, stakeholder communications, thought leadership blogs, email campaigns, social media, print and digital advertising campaigns. Collaborate with sales, operations, or other department representatives to fully understand their communication needs. Collaborate with external creative and public relations partners to develop white papers, flyers, postcards, infographics, scripts for marketing videos, etc. Manage company's social media channels – plan content calendar, develop and post content, interact on, monitor activity, and analyze and report metrics. Monitor external communications and looks for opportunities to promote the company, its programs, and employees. Create marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic, and ensures they are consistent in tone and voice. Stay up to date on marketing technologies and industry trends in communications. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities : Excellent verbal and written communication skills that may include public speaking and presentations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Creative thinker and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, or related software. Experience with email marketing and CRM software solutions, such as Constant Contact and Salesforce. Flexibility, ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholder relationships and allow for adjusting priorities and interruptions. Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field. Three to five years of related experience writing and editing projects; portfolio of relevant previous projects highly preferred.
