Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist
Scope of Work: The duties listed below are intended as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position. Build and execute traditional and digital marketing and communication strategies through research, benchmarking, messaging, marketing data analysis, and audience identification. Gather materials to understand the project and competition, such as literature or previous campaigns; analyze these to determine and execute the most effective communications within budget. Plan, develop, and execute digital programs and campaigns, including online advertising, website strategy, social media, mobile, and other deliverables. Evaluate campaign success upon completion. Create, edit, publish, and share content daily or as needed (original text, images, videos, HTML), and oversee messaging across various platforms. Present design ideas and recommendations to the Special Projects Director. Build meaningful connections and messaging, drive social media traffic, and encourage community engagement. Assist with, create, and maintain the company's webpage and social media profiles. Moderate user-generated content and messages according to company policies. Create and implement a social media marketing plan and editorial calendar. Report on performance to track progress toward goals and optimize efforts. Track and analyze data analytics, market trends, SEO, and competition to gain insights on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness; use this data to improve marketing strategies. Collaborate with other departments to manage company reputation, coordinate promotions, assist with graphics, and increase reach. Develop, manage, and design layouts for presentations, videos, newsletters, event materials, research papers, graphics, and brochures. Assist with crisis management, negative news, reviews, or communications. Monitor trending hashtags and topics, finding creative ways to incorporate them into the brand. Develop and monitor monthly data and ROI to enhance marketing effectiveness. Perform other duties necessary to achieve marketing objectives and assignments. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience. Strong familiarity with media platforms (radio, TV, print, social media). Proven success in digital campaigns and assets. Knowledge of project management, web design, social media metrics, SEO, and analytics. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to interpret data and optimize campaigns. Must pass background and drug screening prior to employment. Compensation:
