MUCE 4010/5010: The Division of Jazz Studies seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Spring 2026 semester. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester, and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs. The anticipated need is to teach marketing for musicians. We are looking for a music industry professional with a deep understanding of the contemporary marketing landscape, including digital strategies, brand partnerships, and fan engagement. This is a remote teaching position, but applicants must be residents of the state of Texas. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any major and 10+ years of music industry experience in marketing. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience teaching at the university level is preferred. Required License/Registration/Certifications
