CAD Design Drafter – SolidWorks
to join their team. You will play a pivotal role in transforming engineering and sales input into precise, production-ready drawings. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and sales teams to bring concepts to life and ensure design integrity throughout the process. Key Responsibilities: Develop 2D and 3D models from verbal and written specifications. Create and revise fabrication drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards. Prepare multiple design iterations for review and refinement. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for custom projects. Maintain drawing libraries and manage revisions. Participate in project meetings and provide technical support. Assist in preparing engineering documentation for client submittals. Qualifications and Skills: Associate’s Degree in drafting, design technology, or related field. Minimum 2 years of experience using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Familiarity with fabrication processes and manufacturing environments. Strong understanding of engineering principles and design documentation. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges independently. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Contract-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs! Compensation Range:
$21/hr-$31/hr Benefits Offered:
