Overview Digital Content Manager (Part-Time) — Orthopedic Practice

Reporting directly to Alexander S. McLawhorn, MD, MBA

Location: Hybrid (HSS Stamford / NYC)

Schedule: 10–15 hours / week

Dr. Alexander S. McLawhorn, MD, MBA, a nationally recognized orthopedic surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), is seeking a part-time Digital Content Manager to help grow his digital presence across Southern Connecticut and the New York metro area.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage content for the website, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube

Optimize web and social content for SEO and patient engagement

Create short-form videos, graphics, and blog posts highlighting hip & knee replacement expertise

Coordinate Google Ads and Meta Ads to reach patients seeking advanced joint replacement care

Track analytics and report performance metrics monthly

Maintain brand consistency and collaborate with HSS marketing and PR

Qualifications

3 years of digital marketing or content management experience (healthcare preferred)

Strong writing, editing, and visual-content skills

Proficiency with Canva / Adobe Express, social-media tools, and basic video workflows

Familiarity with SEO, Google Ads, and Meta Business Suite

Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently
