$120,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Manage a design team on transportation design projects including general roadway design, CADD production, vertical and horizontal alignments, cross sections, survey data processing, quantity calculations, and documenting the design process and communications. Coordinate with clients, consultants, government agencies, and project staff. Ensure designs comply with AASHTO, TDOT, and local design criteria. Support project development from initial concept through completion, contributing to client relationships and project success. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering 9-12 years of experience in DOT or Local Government providing design project services Previous project manager/engineer experience for transportation/infrastructure projects Tennessee P.E. or the ability to obtain one within six (6) months Proficiency in MicroStation / Open Roads Designer / required design and analysis software Proficient with TDOT and AASHTO design guidance, standards, and production tools Demonstrated ability to manage roadway projects profitably while leading a team and collaborating with key stakeholders Facilitate new and existing client relationships Strong technical writing and effective oral/written communication skills Job Type: Full-time This position is subject to a pre-employment drug and motor vehicle record check.
