The Communication Specialist will provide telephone assistance to team members, patients, physicians, and the general public in a timely and professional manner. They will manage the physician call schedules, out-of-hospital personnel lists, administrative call lists, and other miscellaneous contact lists used by hospital personnel. The role also involves responding promptly and efficiently to all emergent calls, following outlined protocols to page. Qualifications Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED; 1 year of customer service experience; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; solid computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office; strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of clerical work experience; experience in telephone or switchboard operations; 1 year of experience with healthcare-related phone systems. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
