Junior Fire Sprinkler Designer

Albin Engineering Services, Inc. (www.aesi.com) is looking for a motivated, self-starter Junior Sprinkler Designer for one of our premier clients in the San Leandro, CA area. This position will be full-time onsite with lots of opportunity for growth. As their employee, you qualify for their full benefit package.

Job Responsibilities:

Runner – Helping where needed, including delivering or picking up plans to/from job sites, etc.

Permit processor – responsible for submitting and tracking permit applications to various jurisdictions, including over-the-counter applications once knowledgeable enough to handle them.

Assist Project Manager with assembling job information, tracking field notes, and preparing documentation for as-built drawings and change orders.

Helping wherever else needed.

Job Requirements:

Previous experience with fire sprinkler system design (mostly tenant improvements and small projects).

Ability to prepare background drawings from CAD files and PDFs.

Prior experience with site surveys of existing fire sprinkler systems.

Self-starting, motivated individual who wants to learn.
