Amazon Jobs is hiring: Ai Creative Director, StoreGen in Seattle
Amazon Jobs, Seattle, WA, US, 98127
Overview Job description. Join our Generative AI focus team to shape how builders at Amazon design, prototype, and ship.
Are you ready to lead creative direction for AI-native tools and experiences? We’re a hands-on group exploring how LLMs, agents, and smart tooling change the day-to-day of software development—and we need a Creative Director who can turn that into clear systems, visuals, and stories people can use.
Mission We’re building the next generation of development tools — uncovering how LLMs can originate new ways of thinking, building, and collaborating.
What Makes Us Different Ground-floor influence on the UX of AI assistants and agentic tools used by Amazon builders
Tight loop with applied science and engineering; you’ll prototype and innovate with live systems
Love for shipping scrappy proofs, then leveling them up into durable patterns
Culture of experimentation and innovative thinking
What You’ll Do Set the creative direction for AI-powered UX across concepts, prototypes, and internal launches
Bring novel concepts to life through interactions and visuals that showcase what’s possible
Translate messy, frontier ideas into clear artifacts—storyboards, animatics, clickable demos
Lead visual systems for assistants/agents: interaction models, motion, states, and guidance
Add polish and structure to demos so ideas are easier to evaluate and share
Help shape internal understanding of how humans can and should collaborate with AI tooling
Impact Your direction will shape how thousands of Amazon engineers experience AI in their daily workflow—what it looks like, how it behaves, and how fast people adopt it.
