Columbia Cabinets is seeking a talented Kitchen Designer to join our team in Armonk, NY. This role requires a strong design background, sales expertise, and excellent client communication skills.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients to understand their needs and accurately measure interior spaces.
Develop kitchen designs, including hand drawings and renderings.
Prepare detailed proposals with descriptions and pricing.
Conduct client meetings and design presentations.
Manage orders and coordinate with the factory.
Provide showroom coverage and engage with walk‑in clients.
Qualifications
2+ years of sales and design experience with a proven track record of driving sales.
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
Experience in high‑end retail is a plus.
Strong understanding of interior space planning and residential construction .
Ability to read architectural plans and create design presentations.
Proficient in site measuring and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Working knowledge of design software and Salesforce (a strong plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook .
Highly organized, proactive, and able to multitask.
Excellent communication skills; personable and client‑focused.
