Sports Videographer/Content Creator – Chicago Union The Videographer/Content Creator will work closely with the Director of Marketing and other members of the organization to produce top‑quality video content that tells the story of our brand. This role offers an opportunity to gain insight into all aspects of a professional sports organization. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast‑paced environment, maintain consistency, and embody the Chicago Union vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities Create engaging digital content such as videos and other multimedia. Shoot and edit high‑quality videos for games, training sessions, and Union events. Conceptualize video features for the Chicago Union digital channels. Collaborate with team members to ensure content aligns with overall brand goals. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and best practices in digital content creation. Archive and organize all footage and material. Be comfortable on camera. Live in or reliably commute to Evanston/Chicago for all Union games and practices. Other duties as assigned to support the Creative Department. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications Advance software skills: Adobe Premiere (After Effects a plus). Experience creating social content for Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Ability to create fun content with the players. Excellent communication skills. Self‑motivated, detail oriented, and accountable. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Reside in the Chicagoland area and attend all Union home games and weekly practices. Ability to commit to November – August. Education and Experience Currently working toward or graduated with a degree in Sports Marketing or related field. Prior experience working in an in‑house creative team, creative agency, or related, with knowledge and enthusiasm for professional sports.
