• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

**Responsibilities:**

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client contacts.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the assigned area to help to deter unwanted activity and provide assistance as needed.
• Document observations and/or incidents according to site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points and interacting with personnel and visitors as needed.

**Minimum Requirements:**

• Possession of a valid security-related guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
