Base Pay Range $65,500.00/yr - $98,000.00/yr Position Summary At Walmart, the Area Manager – Floor will lead a team of associates to achieve high standards of quality, safety, and customer service within a fast‑moving retail environment. The successful candidate will develop and coach associates, manage staffing and scheduling, monitor and analyze business reports, and execute the business plan to achieve facility goals. Key Responsibilities Communicate goals and manage staffing, scheduling, and workload to achieve production, quality, safety, and customer service targets. Monitor productivity and analyze business reports to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensure associates are trained on company policies, standards, and procedures and maintain compliance with policies and procedures. Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns through coaching and corrective action. Supervise, develop, and coach associates and leaders to build high‑performing teams that embrace differences and create a culture of belonging. Act with integrity, promote ethical standards, and support Walmart’s regenerative goal by making a positive impact for associates, customers, and the community. Minimum Qualifications Associate’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field and 1 year supervisory experience OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart Logistics Management experience OR 2 years Walmart Logistics experience OR 2 years supervisory experience. Required to attend and complete all job‑required trainings and assessments. Preferred Qualifications Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Experience supervising associates or managing a Walmart Logistics team. Knowledge of Walmart’s business plans and customer‑first approach.
