Job Overview ALH Components Designer creates detailed plans for prefabricated wood products like roof trusses, floor trusses, and wall panels by converting customer blueprints into production drawings using specialized software. Compensation: $22 - $30 hourly. Responsibilities Ensure designs meet company standards. Accurately reflect blueprints. Communicate with production teams, customers, and sales staff to guarantee project accuracy. Understand construction, basic math, geometry, and trigonometry. Read architectural and structural plans. Qualifications Construction knowledge : Strong understanding of basic construction principles. Technical skills : Proficiency in reading architectural and structural plans. Math and geometry : Competency in basic mathematics, geometry, and trigonometry. Software : Experience with Alpine truss software is a plus.
