Interior Designer- Furniture Specification (Shawnee)

Create and maintain FF&E installation plans and related documentation.
Schedule and coordinate installation logistics with teams.
Arrange site pre-measurements with workrooms and ensure accurate field conditions.
Organize and participate in site walks with installation teams.
Vendor & Client Coordination Communicate effectively with consultants, product representatives, installers, and workrooms. Set up new trade accounts with vendors. Negotiate account terms with trade partners and vendors. Maintain strong professional relationships with manufacturers representatives.
Staying Updated Keeping abreast of new materials, design trends, and manufacturing technologies. Marketing & Visual Documentation Arrange and oversee professional photo shoots to document completed products and installations.
Required Skills Bachelors degree in interior design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or a related field. Minimum 3+ years of experience in high-end or commercial interior design, with a strong portfolio. Minimum 3+ years FF&E selection and procurement experience. Proficiency in design software such as ACAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong knowledge of custom furnishings, textiles, lighting and high-end finishes. Working knowledge of building codes. Excellent project management, leadership and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with architects, builders, and clients in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment. LEED Accreditation or NCIDQ certification is a plus.
