Job Summary

The Graham Center is currently seeking a Temporary Audio-Visual Assistant to join their team of professionals.

Duties Include

• Setup equipment to comply with all safety regulations.


• Set up and tear down audio‑visual and event production equipment in event spaces.


• Greet sponsors with a friendly and courteous attitude and monitor events.


• Monitor and check TV monitors and building music in the student centers.


• Setup, adjust and operate audio‑visual equipment such as cameras, sound mixers and recorders during events.


• Maintain presence as needed and troubleshoot audio‑visual equipment during events.


• Document setup changes and last‑minute AV equipment requests.


• Maintain the AV office and storage facilities organized and clean at all times.


• Report faulty or damaged equipment according to department procedures.


• Return items left in events to the Lost and Found and the Welcome Center.


• Participate in the Student Management Program and events.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Advertised Salary

• $14.50 per hour.

Temporary Disclosure

As a temporary employee, you will not be eligible to participate in all employee benefit programs (e.g., paid leave, retirement, or tuition reimbursement). Employees may be eligible to enroll in health care benefits under the Affordable Care Act if they work an average of 30 hours or more per week. You are also eligible to enroll in supplemental plans requiring full payment on your part.

• 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM


• Plus, weekends (flexible)
