RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain collections of technical information and provide support to product development teams
- Build an extensive network of technical information resources and contacts
- Develop and maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of our current and future products
- Acquire and organize basic source material, including applicable specifications, engineering write-ups, and drawing packages
- Help coordinate the layout and design of the material
- Work with systems analysts and programmers to create and edit application and systems documentation, user manuals, training courses, and procedures
- Prepare proposals and technical reports and work with project managers
This is a 6 month contract opportunity with the potential to extend or convert. Successful candidates love creating solutions that deliver results. For this role, we offer 2 days a week of telecommuting!

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Must have expert knowledge of Excel, MS Word and Visio Drawing tool
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required
- 6+ years of prior experience in this role
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Experience in software development or product management
- Professional certifications (ex: Society for Technical Communication)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communications, or relevant technical field
