Job Description

We are seeking a visionary Senior UX Designer to lead the design of AI and voice user interfaces for mission‑critical public safety applications.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Research teams to shape mobile public safety applications.
• Design intuitive voice user interfaces (VUI) and multimodal experiences for mission‑critical apps.
• Champion human‑centered design principles and collaborate cross‑functionally.
• Identify opportunities to leverage AI (ML, NLP, generative AI) to create novel, delightful experiences.
• Lead the design and development of voice interaction models, dialog flows, and persona guidelines.
• Conduct user research and usability testing focused on voice commands and multimodal interactions.
• Translate customer insights into innovative designs that elevate public safety applications.

Fundamental Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Design, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable.
• 8+ years experience in UX, CX, Interaction Design, or Product Design with proven Voice UI expertise.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts (ML, NLP, Generative AI) and ethical considerations.
• Proven experience designing and prototyping voice user interfaces, including defining grammars, intents, and dialog flows.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills; user‑centric mindset.
• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills; ability to mentor junior designers.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
