Overview UI/UX designers (Face to Face) job at Sidram Technologies. Austin, TX. Title: UI/UX Designer Location: 4601 W. Guadalupe, Austin, Texas 78751 Duration: Until 1/31/2026 with possible extension Last date for submission: September 4, 2025 (2.00 PM-CST) Important Note: Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Mon, Tue & Thurs) required to be ONSITE. In-Person interview mandatory. Responsibilities Lead user research initiatives and journey mapping to gain deep insights into user interactions and identify opportunities for optimization. Demonstrate UX design experience with a portfolio showing expertise in user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping (low and high-fidelity), and usability testing. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies in accordance with accessibility guidelines and branding standards. Collaborate with Code for America and cross-functional teams to apply industry best practices in UI/UX design. Engage in discovery workshops, feedback sessions, and sprint planning to ensure that design decisions are aligned with business objectives. Utilize tools including Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, and Hotjar; implement usability testing, responsive design, and SEO optimization strategies. Experience with AI/ML interfaces: design user interfaces for systems with AI/ML, focusing on explainable AI (XAI) and human-AI interaction principles. Design for complex systems with regulatory requirements in domains like government services, healthcare, or finance. Data visualization: present complex data and AI insights in clear, concise visuals. Empathy and user advocacy: advocate for user-centered design principles. Collaboration and communication: effectively work with cross-functional teams and present design solutions to stakeholders. Understand Accessibility Standards: knowledge of WCAG and other accessibility guidelines to ensure inclusive design. Bonus: Experience with eligibility determination systems or similar rule-based, data-intensive applications. Candidate Skills and Qualifications Minimum Requirements: 11 Years Required: Hands-on experience designing user interfaces and experiences for enterprise systems, including wireframes, prototypes, and visual hierarchies using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, and Sketch. 11 Years Required: Demonstrated ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams, translating business needs into intuitive design solutions that align with accessibility and branding standards. 10 Years Required: Experience applying UX design principles such as hierarchy, contrast, and alignment to create responsive and accessible web and mobile interfaces. 10 Years Required: Experience creating wireframes and prototypes that support agile development cycles, including sketch-to-visual fidelity transitions. 5 Years Preferred: Experience designing graphical diagrams and visual narratives to communicate timelines, workflows, and system architecture. 3 Years Preferred: Demonstrated ability to facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs. 3 Years Preferred: Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or related field. Equivalent experience may be substituted. 3 Years Preferred: Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple design streams across concurrent work effort. #J-18808-Ljbffr
