The TurboTax Live Assisted team is looking for a Principal Product Designer who is passionate about helping solve our customer’s most complex financial situations. You’ll create experiences that help our Tax Pros deliver the service with confidence and ease. Create your vision and design experiences that are useful, usable and desirable. This role requires a dynamic individual who is comfortable delivering in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, with a strong ability to go deep into the details and step back and connect the dots for a more strategic perspective. Responsibilities

Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize among user needs, business goals, and technological realities across web and mobile platforms Masterful storyteller, able to influence a broad audience by visualizing ideas and concepts for internal leaders, partners and customers Bring a bold vision and design strategy to life across multiple areas in the ecosystem. Connect dots across strategies and initiatives to create the largest impact Turn visions into concepts, and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system Deliver user experience visions, specifications, wireframes and prototypes Facilitate collaboration across stakeholders in a matrix organization to drive the best outcomes and encourage others to work with you Design components and patterns in close collaboration with brand, product design teams, and business requirements Assist in defining our company-wide design system for Generative AI Advocate for design system adoption and serve as a subject matter expert for designers and developers implementing our design direction Facilitate strong cross-functional partnerships that bridge design and development to ensure cohesion across design and code Work across business units to improve collaboration and processes that enable timely delivery with quality Surface opportunities to improve processes, deliverables, and customer experiences Balance long-term considerations with ongoing shipping, iterating, and evolving the design system Qualifications

Four-year degree in Human-Computer Interaction, graphic design, or other relevant field or equivalent work experience. Graduate degree a plus 7+ years of interface design experience across multiple platforms Expert knowledge of user-centered design processes, collaboration with customers and cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research; experience with Agile development Experience with technically complex initiatives and integrating user experiences with technical architecture Deep knowledge of UX methods, ideation, prototyping, design frameworks, and design principles Proven track record in setting a vision for great customer experiences and delivering products known for delightful experience and ease of use Strong facilitative leadership to build positive relationships and deliver great results Organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple complex projects A passion for creating products that resonate emotionally Strong online portfolio Compensation and Benefits

Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with pay based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. The expected base pay range for this position is listed below. Intuit conducts regular pay analyses to promote equity. Bay Area, CA: $229,000 – $309,500 Southern California, CA: $212,500 – $287,500 Seniority level
