Overview

Within this role, the Account Director is a primary point of contact for Pharma Marketing & Corporate clientele. As an extension of the Group Account Director, the Account Director will ensure all requests, projects and deadlines are met and completed. The Account Director is responsible for simultaneously overseeing the management of multiple medical education projects from inception to completion. This position will support clients based on the West Coast and may be asked to work local hours as needed. Responsibilities
Accessibility as the day-to-day point of contact to client stakeholders partnering on strategic initiatives, project/financial management, and communications with client stakeholders. Develop and lead recurring status calls with internal and external stakeholders Develop strategy and oversee implementation of various medical education initiatives such as Conferences Activities, Advisory Boards, KOL Consulting Engagements, Symposia & Product Theaters, Anatomy / Cadaver Trainings, Patient Injection Trainings SOW development support & monthly/quarterly invoicing, as directed Partner with client stakeholders to develop and monitor budget forecast Identify and communicate relevant and meaningful insights around projects throughout project lifecycle Ideate insight-driven solutions that may provide opportunities for value added services and organic growth Manage timely and professional written and verbal communications with colleagues, clients, faculty members, sales force, internal personnel and external vendors Ensure customer expectations are met at all levels of project activity Establish and maintain knowledge of relevant healthcare products, disease states, and medical education Provide guidance to the managerial team on the development of all project-related communications and websites Adhere to policy guidelines and ensure they are understood and followed by team members: Client Corporate Compliance, Client Budget and Travel, HIPAA, PhRMA, MedForce policies and procedures Assist in skills development and mentoring team members Provisions and editing of executive summaries on event evaluation and success; delivery to client Report management and provision of various report types (e.g., Budget Details & Breakdown, Compliance & Training Records, Aggregate Spend & Financial Disclosure Reporting, Speaker Usage & Capping, Evaluations, RSVP & Attendee) Liaising with clients, vendors, and internal teams Development of internal SOPs on new projects and strategizing process improvements to existing projects Oversight of Faculty/Consultant Management (CVs, biographies, contracts, and supporting fair market value documentation) Management of team workload assessment Monitoring 30-day financial close outs, both internally and externally with client aggregate spend systems and/or reporting Onsite support to client(s), speaker and patient(s), ensuring program is executed successfully Qualifications & Software/Technology
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and/or work experience required Minimum of five (5) years in healthcare communication, with 2-3 years of relevant Account Management experience Able/eager to motivate others while maintaining a level head in high pressure situations Well-developed skills in prioritizing, organizing, decision making, time management, and verbal/written communication A dedicated and autonomous work ethic and accessibility for after-hours and/or offsite support Knowledge of PhRMA code guidelines and Sunshine Act High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required – Excel, Word, PowerPoint Understanding of pharmaceutical Medical, Legal, Regulatory review processes for product promotional assets Experience with industry software such as Veeva Vault, Veeva Events Management, Adobe E-Sign, CVENT, and Virtual Meeting Platforms Travel Requirements
Ability to travel a minimum of 12x a year to various parts of the United States (including weekends) to support meetings Live quarterly business reviews (max of 4), with location in California potentially requested by client The majority of travel will require air travel Please Note
