The Lead Director, Marketing Strategy and Communications, will partner with the Rx and Health Care Delivery Leadership Team to shape, present, and communicate strategy through compelling presentations, insightful reports, and intuitive dashboards. The goal: to ensure that key insights and marketing impact are clearly and effectively shared with business leaders across the organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for “marketing the marketing”—elevating awareness and understanding of marketing’s value and contributions at every level.
We're seeking a candidate who blends technical expertise with creative savvy, able to turn complex plans, reports, and communications into engaging, accessible, and impactful content tailored for each unique audience.
Reporting directly to the VP of Rx and Health Care Delivery Marketing, and supporting several Executive Directors, the Lead Director will need to balance multiple priorities and projects—often simultaneously—using strong organizational skills and a strategic mindset.

Key Responsibilities
Support the VP and Executive Directors by developing impactful presentations, dashboards, email updates, and other communication materials.
Play a key role in the annual planning process, ensuring strategies are clearly structured and effectively communicated.
Offer consultative strategy support throughout the content and communications process.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of relevant professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
Consulting experience is a plus, but not required
Proven ability to craft powerful presentations and business communications
Advanced technical skills with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Prezi, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, or similar platforms
Strong business acumen and excellent multi-tasking abilities
Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; MBA or other relevant master’s degree preferred.
Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is:
$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
