Overview
BRR Architecture is a national architectural design firm focused on retail, commercial, and multi-family projects. We emphasize a team-based approach and collaboration across studios to act as one integrated team for clients. We’re seeking candidates with commercial or grocery/retail experience in urban markets who can contribute to design, coordination, and production throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities and job functions vary based on experience and are focused on improving production efficiencies through coordinating, scheduling, evaluating, and developing processes. You will assist in architectural research, document/design development, and program-wide implementation efforts. Responsibilities
Evaluate materials, building products, constructability, and processes Produce detailed construction documents for projects Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, and Structural disciplines Develop and assist in client and peer presentations Attend project and studio meetings Build, develop, and maintain client relations Assist in problem solving of production issues Ensure the success of the project Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports Qualifications
Professional accredited degree in Architecture Licensure not required Ability to understand and communicate complex issues involving functional and aesthetic aspects of architecture Ability to engage in creative and critical thought and graphically communicate concepts Desire to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Ability to assist in architectural research, document/design development, peer consultation and program-wide implementation Detail-oriented with a commitment to confidentiality and sensitivity of information Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills Ability to work well with all levels of teammates Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD; willingness to research and use technology in architectural applications Professional Development
