We are seeking a VP of Sales and Marketing with experience in the Health and Beauty industry. In this role, you will be a strategic leader responsible for directing all sales and marketing initiatives to achieve revenue growth and increase market share. You will develop and execute comprehensive strategies, oversee daily operations, and build a high-performing team to drive profitability and brand recognition. This position will focus on developing sales and marketing capabilities, guiding revenue growth, and implementing an EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) to drive cross-functional alignment.
This is a dynamic, senior-level position that requires a visionary who can lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to meet ambitious corporate objectives. You will report directly to the CEO. This role offers a direct path to CGO with increasing scope, autonomy, and compensation as milestones are met.
Note: This position is located in the Pacific Northwest and will most likely require relocation. Relocation assistance is available.

Growth Strategy & Execution - Design and execute a phased growth plan targeting new distributors, salons, and B2B accounts. Help hire and lead a sales team as revenue and cashflow scale. Establish KPIs, reporting structures, and growth goals in coordination with PE sponsors. Cross-Functional Leadership - Implement EOS, manage vision/traction processes, scorecards, and L10 meetings. Executive Development - Grow into the full CGO role over 12-24 months with support from the Board and sponsors. Strategic leadership - Develop and implement a cohesive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the company's mission and financial goals. Team management - Provide leadership, direction, and performance management for the sales and marketing teams. This includes hiring, training, and setting clear performance benchmarks. Budget management - Own and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective resource allocation and optimizing return on investment (ROI). Market analysis - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats. Use data to inform decision-making and strategic adjustments. Brand stewardship - Oversee brand messaging, digital marketing, and customer communications. Guide email campaigns, web strategies, loyalty programs, and lead generation. Align marketing strategies with seasonal product launches and R&D capabilities. Operational excellence - Oversee all sales and marketing operations, including implementing and managing CRM software and marketing automation platforms. Qualifications and Skills
Education: A bachelor's degree is required, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred. Experience: A minimum of 10–15 years of progressive experience in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in beauty, manufacturing, CPG, or a related product-driven industry. Leadership: A proven track record of successfully leading, motivating, and scaling high-performing sales and marketing teams. Comfortable stepping into a leadership role with evolving scope and increasing responsibility. Business acumen: Deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and financial management. Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present strategies and influence stakeholders at all levels. Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to changing market conditions with innovation and agility. Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to build from scratch. Technical proficiency: Familiarity with EOS is a plus (training provided if needed). Compensation
