Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Interior Designer. The position is located in Irvine, CA. The Commercial Interior Designer will be responsible to collaborate with the team on multiple projects in all phases of work: Field Survey and CAD documentation Drafting Develop Pricing Plans Product / Material Research Develop Finish Schemes Design Development and Presentations Develop Construction Documents City Submittal and liaising with government agency personnel Coordination with consulting engineers Assist with reviewing submittals and RFIs Attend client and construction meetings Attend Punch Walks and prepare project close out documents Specifying FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment).
Candidate Requirements: 1 to 3+ year design firm experience Proficient in AutoCAD Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow multi-step instructions / directions Ability to work on multiple projects at one time Knowledge of design phases from Programming, Space Plan, Pricing Plan, Design Development, Material and Finish Selection, Construction Documents, Government Agency Submittal, Construction Administration Graphic and presentation skills to effectively communicate design intent Professional Bachelor's degree or higher in Interior Design or Architecture from an accredited University program
Salary will commensurate on experience.
