Perkins&Will Denver is seeking a Designer II with 3-5+ years of experience to join our team. We take a human-centric approach to culture-building and placemaking, aiming to create joyful experiences that strengthen community through design for workplaces, buildings, and cities. Responsibilities

Use knowledge of project complexity to contribute to the team’s success by adhering to firm and project goals and standards of excellence in design, execution, and living design. Assist in generating creative design ideas and concepts as an integral member of the design team. Generate drawings under supervision for schematic design, design development, and construction documents. Perform product research and assist with material selections. Apply critical and creative judgment in preparing client presentation materials. Complete tasks within project schedule and budget in an organized, timely, and consistent manner. Self-check work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual. Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups; maintain open communication with the team leader. Coordinate effectively with partners and consultants. Qualifications and Skills

Years of Experience: 3-5+ Licensure: not required Proficiencies: BIM, building codes, site analysis, preliminary design studies, contract documents, field measurements, life safety requirements, specifications, construction contract administration, sketching Software: 2D/3D production software, intermediate Revit, Rhino/Grasshopper, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Enscape/VRay, 3D printing and laser cutting, InDesign and Photoshop Environmental analysis tools such as Ladybug and Climate Studio Education and Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or related discipline required LEED GA within 6 months of hire Professional accreditation in a Living Design area of interest (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP, SITES AP, Passive House, ILFI Living Future Accreditation) Preparing for ARE and active involvement in AXP Offerings and Benefits

At posting, the annual salary range in Denver is between $64,000 and $81,700. Pay practices are fair, competitive, and reflect qualifications, experience, and other business-related factors.
