The Jr. Interior Designer will assist the Design team with renovation projects, facility design requests and new clubs. The responsibilities and duties described here are representative of those an employee must perform. Responsibilities
Assist in the selection of material finishes, furniture, and accessories for existing clubs, renovation projects and new clubs. Lead all Facility Design Requests (FDRs). Source pricing, lead time and stock availability of FF&E items and finish materials. Create and manage finish schedules throughout the duration of projects. Organize and track FF&E budgets for renovation projects. Order materials samples for presentations, and finish boards. Manage and organize internal materials library with updates from vendor representatives. Create InDesign presentations, spreadsheets in Excel, and text documents in Word. Create floor plans, interior elevations, and cabinetry details in AutoCAD. Prepare Flame Reports for the Fire Department where required, including ordering Flame Certificates from vendors and completing necessary forms. Manage weekly package of renovation and facility design deliverables for the design team. Write purchase orders and send them to vendors; process invoices for FF&E and coordinate shipments and deliveries. Become familiar with Equinox spatial requirements and standards. Photography and minor graphic design: photograph clubs, create mood and finishes boards, create renderings, and edit images. Professional photography is not required. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Architecture or Interior Design. 3+ years of professional experience with an architecture or design firm, ideally in hospitality or high-end residential field. Highly proficient at AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and rendering knowledge with strong graphic and digital presentation skills. Detail-oriented, organized and enjoys problem solving. Passion for design and ability to take initiative. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Pay Transparency: Min $60k - Max $70k Additional Information
