The Project Manager will manage the overall planning, control, status reporting and delivery of a low to moderately complex project to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within the agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements. The Project Manager is the day-to-day, primary contact for customers as it relates to all phases of pre-production, production and post-production, while ensuring exceptional customer experience and quality of work. A bonus if you have fashion/retail marketing experience.

JOB DUTIES

Manage the overall planning, control, status reporting and delivery of projects from start to completion to ensure that project goals and objectives are met within the agreed upon time, scope, budget and resource requirements.

Primary contact for customers as it relates to photo and video production to ensure exceptional quality work and customer experience

Secondary contact for customers as it relates to sales

Leading client calls (program kick-off call, pre-production call)

Leading internal client briefs as a passionate brand champion for all their clients

Leading development of all pre-production documents

Working collaboratively with all internal teams to deliver on the brand’s style

Arranging client product shipment, and manages any follow-up inquiries to ensure it arrives on time

Running production date for all clients (get clients settled upon arrival, join virtual studio for remote clients, etc.)

Implement project schedules and coordinate resources ensuring all activity is completed to the agreed deadlines.

Communicate consistently with project stakeholders and executives as appropriate, ensuring deliverables are being met by all team members at all stages of the project

Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the client and consistently strive to exceed their expectations. Maintain a good understanding of the client and their organization

Build consultative relationship with external and internal clients

Manage to and achieve budget goals set for projects

Utilize appropriate tools and technology to execute on-time delivery

Ensure issues requiring escalation are routed to the appropriate contact and resolved

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors and/or post-graduate degree in Communications, Advertising, Media Studies or a related field (a combination of education and experience can be substituted)

2+ years of experience in an office and/or agency environment (previous production experience is an asset)

Demonstrate a solid understanding of one or more of the following: print production, digital production, reprographics, social media, broadcast

Experience in artwork and production process (life cycles and copywriting)

Mac experience preferred

Good understanding of project management principles

Good understanding of job-tracking systems and/ or Project Management software

PMP preferred

Demonstrated experience in managing projects of low to medium complexity to successful completion; able to handle multiple concurrent projects

Is strong team player

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Excellent time management and problem solving skills

Proven ability to handle stressful situations and deadline pressures

Excellent planning and organizing skills; ability to plan for all eventualities and provide solutions to issues

Demonstrated problem solving skills

Good analytical and budgeting skills

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams
