Web Developer Specialist - Remote at Jobs via Dice. This is a remote opportunity supporting .NET C# software development (web API and Windows service). Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to development activities across front-end and back-end components, including server-side development, database integration, and related applications. Research, track and understand new web technologies to provide technical leadership in developing service applications and analyzing business requirements for intranet and Internet-related systems. Build applications using Internet and Windows development tools. Provide written design documents, test plans and test results. Establish and communicate standards to manage cost and ensure continuity of applications. Collaborate with outside vendors on developing tests to ensure feature functionality and quality. Suggest technical alternatives and improve/streamline processes and systems. Complete project assignments and special projects aligned with job expectations. Conduct planning, analysis and forecasting activities to plan projects and tasks. May provide leadership or guidance to other technical professionals. Requirements
A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience. .NET C#, SQL; ability to gather requirements and interact with end users; experience with Angular. Knowledge of multiple development methodologies, data networks, web security, web services, data modeling, and browser differences. Proficiency in at least one applications development methodology and in developing code for client or server; proficiency in at least one client-side scripting language. Able to work remotely. The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may pay more or less; compensation is based on factors like education, qualifications, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance. Salaried personnel receive paid time off; hourly employees may have paid sick leave as required by law.
