Ideal Instruction is seeking a Videographer to elevate our video production efforts. This is a hands-on role that combines filming, editing, and project management. If you are a skilled videographer and editor with a passion for education, we’d love to hear from you! Location(s):
New York City (On-site and MUST be able to travel) Compensation:
Up to $75/hr (commensurate with experience) Employment Type:
Contract (between now and the end of the year with possible extension) About the Role Ideal Instruction is seeking a Videographer to elevate our video production efforts. This is a hands-on role that combines filming, editing, and project management. If you are a skilled videographer and editor with a passion for education, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do Film video on set and on location Work with teams to plan video shoots Set up and take down cameras, microphones, lighting, props and other equipment Add computer graphics, closed captioning and special effects to footage Travel as needed for filming assignments, including out-of-town shoots What We’re Looking For Professional videography experience in dynamic environments (e.g., classrooms, live events) Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and advanced editing expertise Strong organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously Excellent communication and client relationship skills (with a 24-hour response expectation) Problem-solving mindset and adaptability under pressure Required Equipment Ownership: 4k camera (with unlimited continuous recording time), wireless lavaliere mic, shotgun mic, monopod, tripod, SD cards, and sufficient batteries for full-day filming Preferred Experience working in K–12 education or familiarity with school settings Why Join Us?
