Base pay $90,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Starting Pay Range: 90,000 - 115,000 Annually. Pay varies by geographic location, education, skills and experience.
Position Job title: Manager, Pricing & Promotions. Department: Pricing & Promotions. Reports To: VP, Chief Customer Officer. Classification: Exempt. Location: St. Paul, MN (hybrid); occasional travel required.
Summary The Pricing & Promotions team provides insights, tools, and capabilities to guide pricing and promotion decision making while ensuring the delivery of product and market volume and profit objectives. The Manager, Pricing & Promotions develops and implements pricing strategies and policies to maximize profitable growth and competitiveness. Responsibilities include pricing strategy development, collaboration with sales and distributor partners, and price structure management.
Essential Functions
Pricing Strategy: Develops and executes pricing strategies aligned with business objectives, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Analyzes Nielsen competitor pricing and price position to identify opportunities and risks.
Volume/Profitability Optimization: Identifies opportunities to balance volume and profitability through pricing and promotions.
Analyzes impact of pricing changes on sales volume, revenue, and market share; delivers balanced outcomes.
Conducts financial analysis to assess pricing decisions’ impact on performance.
Uses pricing models and data-driven insights to guide recommendations.
Develops market-level financial forecasts and monitors risk and opportunity analysis.
Performs scenario analysis to evaluate pricing strategies under various market conditions and provides recommendations.
Price Elasticity Analysis: Understands and applies elasticity to inform pricing and promotional decisions.
Monitors and analyzes competitor pricing to maintain a competitive position aligned with brand pricing.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Works with sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain to execute pricing strategies; supports new product launches with brand managers; partners with distributors for alignment.
Data Management: Manages large datasets related to pricing and deal structures; ensures data accuracy and system integrity.
Performs other duties as assigned.

5-8 years of experience in a marketing or finance-related role.
Experience in the CPG food & beverage industry.
Experience utilizing and interpreting AC Nielsen and VIP data.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
Preferred Education & Experience
Experience in a pricing-focused role.
Experience in the alcohol industry.

Work Location & Travel: Hybrid position based in St. Paul, MN. Occasional travel required.
Work Environment: Office setting (home or company site); extended computer use.
