The Design Professional, reporting directly to the Director of Architecture, is responsible for supporting the architecture team in the production of accurate and coordinated design and construction documents. This role assists with project documentation, coordination, and technical tasks while gaining exposure to all phases of project delivery. The Design Professional is detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to expand knowledge of building systems, codes, and construction processes in preparation for architectural licensure. Essential Duties

Assist in developing construction drawings and specifications under the direction of senior staff. Support coordination efforts with consultants, contractors, and client representatives. Provide drafting, modeling, and visualization support using Revit, Photoshop, and Enscape. Help track project schedules, progress, and deliverables assigned. Participate in design reviews, quality assurance and quality control checks, and document preparation to ensure consistency and accuracy. Attend client and consultant meetings with senior staff; assist in documenting outcomes and next steps. Contribute to site visits by assisting with field observations and report preparation. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications, Education and/or Experience
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Bachelor or Master’s degree in architecture required by hire date. Degree from NAAB accredited program preferred. Proficiency in Revit is required; familiarity with Photoshop and Enscape preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Desire to grow knowledge of building systems, construction processes, and codes. Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills are required. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is required. Self-motivated and curious with interest in pursuing architectural licensure. Working Conditions

The conditions listed below define the experience of working at the Brahms Home Office. This position may need to walk or stand for extended periods while visiting project sites. This position may need to lift up to twenty (20) pounds. This position may need to move through areas of the office or other worksites of the organization. The individual will contribute as a collaborative team player, working alongside colleagues to create a supportive and cohesive work environment. Individuals in this position are required to stay current on all training and ongoing education initiatives. This position is required to work onsite at the St. Louis Dover Companies headquarters. While travel for this role is not anticipated, there may be situations that arise that require this role to travel to an offsite company location.
