Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site position based in Sugar Land, TX. The Marketing Communications Specialist will develop and implement communication strategies to elevate the school’s brand and manage community perception. This individual will be responsible for creating compelling digital content, managing internal and external communication, and supporting promotional efforts that reflect the school’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
Strong creative and visual storytelling skills
Experience in photography, videography, and graphic design
Proficiency with digital design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and social media platforms
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized with strong diligence and ability to manage multiple projects at once
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel locally for events and assist with physical setup (banners, signage, merchandise, etc.)
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Director of Admission and Director Advancement on marketing strategies and campaign execution
Assist both directors with school events, initiatives, and special projects (as needed in a moment’s time)
Proactively research and identify marketing opportunities to broaden CCA’s reach in the community and beyond
Stay current with marketing trends, tools, and strategies to help CCA stand out in the private school landscape
Content Creation & Digital Marketing
Design and produce digital content including graphics, photos, videos, reels, and ads to promote CCA across various platforms
Manage the creation of advertisements and promotional campaigns to increase brand exposure and community engagement
Website content management including creation and maintenance
Ensure all content aligns with CCA’s brand guidelines, voice, and Christian mission
School Communications
Support school-wide communication efforts, including the weekly school newsletter, division-wide emails, and text alerts for parents and faculty
Collaborate with school leadership to ensure clear, timely, and effective messaging to families
Merchandise & Promotional Materials
Assist with the design and production of school merchandise, spirit shirts, banners, signage, and other promotional materials
