This team of multi-disciplinary designers works in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that bring augmented reality to life. We are looking for a 3D Visual Designer to join the Spectacles design team. What you’ll do

Work on an exciting portfolio of projects ranging from emerging 3D and AR technology to iconography systems across our applications Architect ambitious and often ambiguous design projects that will set precedent for the rest of the industry Collaborate with prototypers, product designers, engineers, and artists to solve complex problems, translate strategic goals into relevant solutions, and build world class experiences Help lead visual strategy and define principles and systems that connect innovative product design with our engaging and playful brand Design innovative interfaces and AR experiences that push boundaries Evolve the look and feel of the Spectacles interface Make 2D and 3D assets from various concepts into assets for operating system, interactive experiences, and other aspects of the Spectacles interface Seek out and utilize emerging technologies to scale the impact of the Spectacles design team Knowledge, skills & abilities

Strong 2D & 3D skills Ability to generate ideas and execute them with clear value to users and within engineering constraints Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Experience working on multiple types of visual mediums Proactive, self-motivated, and willing to explore new territory and challenges Excellent collaboration and communication skills Minimum qualifications

BS/BA degree or equivalent years of experience 3+ years of design experience Preferred qualifications

Proficiency with 3D modeling software (Blender, Maya, etc.) A strong portfolio showcasing your design work Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design tools Experience in concept art (2D or 3D), storyboarding Experience developing, documenting and implementing a visual language Experience with Unity, Lens Studio or UE Up-to-date with the latest trends Brand / Agency design experience is a plus Equal opportunity

Compensation In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future. Zone A (CA, WA, NYC): base salary range $157,000-$235,000 annually. Zone B: base salary range $149,000-$223,000 annually. Zone C: base salary range $133,000-$200,000 annually. This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
