We’re seeking a talented Designer for Accessories to join our dynamic team and contribute to SKIMS’ vision of redefining style and innovation in every detail—from accessories to packaging.
Position Overview The Designer for Accessories will lead creative design and development across all packaging and accessory categories, ensuring SKIMS’ branding is elevated and consistent. This role will conceptualize, design, and execute packaging and accessory collections that align with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and business objectives. This is a highly creative and cross-functional role, requiring collaboration with merchandising, production, brand, and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities Lead the creative design process for accessories, from concept to final production, ensuring alignment with brand identity and innovation goals.
Research trends, materials, and finishes to ensure SKIMS remains innovative and competitive.
Create detailed technical drawings, mockups, and specifications for production and vendor execution.
Partner with suppliers and vendors to source materials, review prototypes, and oversee sampling and approvals.
Present design concepts, mood boards, and prototypes to leadership and stakeholders for approval.
Stay current on market trends, sustainability practices, and innovations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or related field.
4+ years of design experience in accessories, or product design, ideally in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle brands.
Strong knowledge of materials, printing and product development processes.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and CAD software; 3D rendering experience a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
